I have worked at the university for over 5 years teaching within the Culinary team. Culinary is a subject I am very passionate about, especially the fine dining sector. I specialise in the detailed dessert and patisserie items that have become very popular in recent trends.

Teaching responsibilities

Lecturer in Culinary Arts and Culinary Management.

I am the Lead for the pastry and bakery elements of the Culinary Arts and Culinary Management degrees. I am Personal Academic Tutoring Lead for the Culinary department at the Centre for Contemporary Hospitality and Tourism.

9 years as Freelance Head Chef with roles and responsibilities to include:

I have had my own business supplying catering services to private clients and also have had my own bakery business supplying novelty cakes and wedding cakes over the last 7 years.

Music and piano playing, sport, gardening and spending time with my family.
