I am a firm believer in the creation of innovative and creative module content which is evidenced by in a number of cases the use of posters, theme boards and infographics as media for assessments. This approach is designed not only to develop our students' knowledge of subject content, but also to help them develop their creative, innovative and employability skills in readiness for the work place.

I am currently module leader for "Marketing Fundamentals", a foundation module that I teach along with my module team across several of our undergraduate degree programmes, including BA (Hons) Marketing, BA (Hons) Business Management, BA (Hons) Business Studies and Higher National Diploma (HND). The module also runs under my leadership at Leek College, and at our collaborative provisions at Med College (Athens and Thessaloniki) and Malaysia.

I also lead the final year module Marketing across Cultures.

I actively work with our College and Central Marketing Departments in the area of Outreach. This includes the organisation, delivery and coordination of various events with schools and colleges, which are held either on site at university or in some cases, off site at the individual school or college.

I am a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
