About

I am a Lecturer in Data Science at the University of Derby, with a research focus on artificial intelligence for healthcare and intelligent human–computer interaction. My work centres on developing AI-driven methods for analysing biomedical signals, with applications in assistive and rehabilitation technologies, brain-computer interfaces, and clinical decision support systems.

I am particularly interested in advancing neurorehabilitation and digital health through data-driven approaches that improve patient outcomes and support equitable healthcare delivery. My research has contributed to publications in leading international journals and conferences. Alongside my research, I am committed to high-quality teaching, student mentorship, and collaborative interdisciplinary research.
