About

I am a lecturer for both undergraduate and postgraduate marketing degree programmes at the Derby International Business School.

I also supervise postgraduate students on their research projects.

Teaching responsibilities

Professional interests

After my undergraduate degree in Marketing Management, I spent several years working in various marketing positions in industry and commerce in Zimbabwe. My work experience, which spans over 15 years in manufacturing and service sectors, has shaped who I am today.

My notable experience is when I worked as Marketing and Public Relations Officer for a private college in Zimbabwe, and as Marketing and Public Affairs Executive for the Privatisation Agency of Zimbabwe.

Eager to improve my theoretical knowledge, I went back to school and studied for Masters and PhD degrees in Marketing Management at the University of Pretoria, in South Africa. It has now been 18 years since I joined the academia and there are no signs of stopping. I found a way to give back to the society.
