I teach on the B.A (Hons) Applied Social Work course. My background includes more than 25 years in local authority adult social care. I moved into Higher Education at the end of 2011 and joined the University of Derby in 2019 as a part-time lecturer.

Teaching responsibilities

I currently teach the Law & Policy and Research Methods modules. I supervise a small number of students for their Independent Study and also perform a tutor role for students on placement.
