About

I am a Lecturer of Education in the Institute of Education, part of the College of Arts, Humanities and Education.

I am passionate about education and am a lifelong learner. It is my goal to assist in ensuring that outstanding teaching, learning and assessment experiences are available and accessible to all. 

Teaching responsibilities

I deliver Initial Teacher Training and Initial Teacher Education to trainee teachers on the International Postgraduate Certificate in Education (iPGCE). 

I teach modules on curriculum design and development; research-informed practice; inclusive practice and innovative 21st-century teaching. These modules and their content are aimed at ensuring that teachers of tomorrow are reflective practitioners who are best prepared to be outstanding in education.

Research interests

I am interested in all aspects of education, especially in the areas of curriculum and pedagogy, as well as innovative and creative learning, teaching and assessment.
