I am a lecturer in International Relations and Diplomacy. This means I teach across both single honours and joint honours degrees in the field of International Relations and Diplomacy. With international experience in both higher education institutions and within an NGO research environment I place an emphasis on linking theory and practice to equip students with the skills they need to engage in this diverse field.

Teaching responsibilities

I lead and teach modules on international relations theory, conflict resolution, the international political economy, international politics and negotiation.

Research interests

I am interested in all aspects of Diplomacy, especially the growing role of non-state actors in diplomatic practice. I am also actively engaged in research on foreign policy analysis and comparative foreign policy.
