About

I am a lecturer in Environmental Science and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Before joining Derby, I worked as a Teaching Fellow in GIS and Remote Sensing at the University of Salford (2023-2025) and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Exeter (2018-2023).

I have a track record of successful research outputs and have led and contributed to several research projects and established professional relationships with interdisciplinary international teams. I developed several novel approaches in remote sensing, which have been applied in environmental management in the UK and overseas.

I serve as Associate Editor for the Climate Interactions Journal. I am also contributing to generating research funding, writing bids, and disseminating research outcomes for publications.
