Senior lecturer in the College of Health and Social care. Clinical background - accident and emergncy nursing. Dual trained-  Registered General Nurse and Registered Nurse - Child.

Main role is teaching theoretical sessions, clinical skills sessions and simulation based learning. I have a special interest in simulation and emergency care of the child and adult. I am a member of ASPiH and the college simulation group and lead on simulation for the pre registered nursing team.

Experience in industry

Thirty years experience of working in the NHS, more specifically within the emergency care setting.  Working clinically in both adult and paediatric emergency settings at Derby, Leicester and Nottingham. Moving on into management of the paediatric emergency department at the Queens Medical Centre Nottingham then the role of education lead for the emergency department.
