I am a senior lecturer for pre registration Children's Nursing.

Teaching responsibilities

I work closely with other members of the Children's Nursing team to deliver evidence based and engaging content. I ensure that all taught sessions meet the requirements of the NMC approved content and link to the module learning outcomes. I teach both theory and clinical skills. I am a Personal Academic Tutor and Academic Assessor for many student nurses.

Professional interests

Professionally I have worked as a children's nurse in the NHS in a number of different roles, I have a particular interest in emergency care, trauma, safeguarding, human factors and leadership. I hold instructor status with the Advanced Life Support Group and teach on their APLS course.
