About

I graduated from the University of Derby in 2023, after studying counselling and psychology. During this time, I gained a deeper understanding of poor mental health and studied different therapeutic approaches and counselling styles, that could be used and explored ways to normalise and facilitate conversations around people’s own mental health and wellbeing.

Since graduating, I have gained experience working as a crisis intervention support worker, while working for the Work Health Hub, before transitioning into my role as Project Co-Ordinator for The Work Health Hub.

I support The Work Health Hub, a programme at the University of Derby, offering consultancy, a membership platform hosting resources and practical toolkits, and research in the field of health and wellbeing.

Working closely with businesses of all shapes and sizes, I support them in rolling out key mental health initiatives, breaking down barriers to accessing support and supporting individuals who may be struggling with mental health issues to remain in employment.
