I joined the University of Derby as a Lecturer in Forensic Psychology in January 2021. Prior to this, I worked as a caseworker in the European Asylum Support Office and later on in Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) offering psychosocial support in Lesvos, Greece. Before that, I worked as a Research Associate in De Montfort University in Leicester.

As part of my role, I am involved in both teaching and research -supporting research by supervising student projects, as well as conducting research on the areas of my interest. My main research interests include investigative interviewing of vulnerable witnesses, asylum interviews, cybercrime victimisation, sexual abuse and trauma.
