About

I am a postgraduate researcher associated with the Centre of Business improvement and ERDF Low Carbon Business Network Project at the University of Derby. My research involves exploring the links between environmental strategy, performance and impact in Small and Medium enterprises in the Derby Derbyshire Nottingham Nottinghamshire Local Enterprise Partnership (D2N2 LEP). I have over a decade of industry experience as a Chartered Manager in management/senior management profiles across business development, operations, project management and consulting in oil and gas, petrochemical, engineering and manufacturing sectors in the UK, Europe and Middle East.

My research interests include all aspects of organisational transition towards a low-carbon economy, sustainable businesses, pro-environmental leadership and pro-environmental systems thinking. I aspire to bridge the gap between academic research to have public engagement with the policy makers, regulatory bodies, business community for greater reach of the research.

I have presented my research at the East Midlands doctoral conference, PGR conference at the University of Derby, and the Professorial Council event.
