Dr. David Russell, FCCA FCMA CPA MSc MBCS CITP DBA FHEA is Dean of the College of Business, Law and Social Sciences.

He is engaged in Higher Education strategic leadership & management. His research interests are taxation, sustainability, CSR and carbon emissions. David has contributed widely to academic discourse in this area and has published books and academic journal articles.

Honours and Awards

International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Articles of Merit award. Presented by the Financial and Management Accounting Committee; in recognition of the contribution made to management accounting with the paper ‘Financing Renewable Energy: Creating the Right Package of Incentives for a Level Playing Field for Commercial Electricity Production From Wind Turbines.’
