As a Research Professor (fractional), I mentor research-active colleagues in the production of highly-ranked academic publications and in seeking and securing external research funding.

My role is to support early and mid-career researchers in developing their academic careers.

Teaching responsibilities

I teach on all aspects of supply chain management, which is about how firms match customer demand with supply.

I have extensive teaching experience at all levels including undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education.

Research interests

My research interests focus on the relationship between supply chain management practices and business performance. More specifically, I am interested in the business and environmental contingencies which influence this relationship.

Membership of professional bodies

Recent conferences

My most recent conference papers have focussed on the impact of mass customisation of products on how supply chains are managed at the annual EurOMA Conference in locations including Budapest, Trondheim and Edinburgh.
