Module description

A 2-3 day workshop is central to this module with all students undertaking a filmed role play which would result in a stand-alone “Advanced Communication Certificate”.

For the accredited assessment the student will produce a 3,000 word critical analysis and reflection on their personal performance, incorporating relevant evidence from the literature and underpinning theory (+/- 10%), drawing on the filmed role play. Students will evaluate appropriate communication strategies and their impact on others, thus enhancing professional practice.

Nurses, doctors, senior clinicians, pastoral and allied health professionals.
