This half-day session looks at the value of art and design as a distinct subject, and how you can capitalise on the opportunities it offers to enhance children’s learning and holistic development.

You will identify and explore creative opportunities for developing learners’ discreet and transferable skills and consider how you can improve the way art and design is taught in your school or educational setting.

It's a great opportunity to collaborate with other professionals and share knowledge and best practice. This can enhance your pedagogical skills and deepen your subject knowledge.

By special request, this session can also be carried out in a school setting as a workforce development activity.
