Course description

The Problem Solving workshop is an interactive, hands-on experience which allows delegates to develop the tools and techniques to address their own work problems.  This sessions will help you to frame business issues, enabling you to plan projects, meet needs and make business improvements.

Delegates will use a variety of tools to identify and define various types of problem.

Delegates follow a systematic problem-solving process to work through real work problems and arrive at creative solutions.

Nil.  This course should help Operational Managers, Team Leaders and Project Managers, particularly in SMEs.

Programme leader

Dr Olivia Ramsbottom is co-Programme Leader of the Senior Leader's Masters' Degree Apprenticeship (SLMDA) and the MSc Management.  She is a Senior Lecturer, with teaching responsibilities across Derby Business School. She is responsible for the recruitment of students, and for the design of content that inspires, engages and develops students for the challenges of the future.
