Course description

This interactive course is made up of two short online sessions. The first will help you to gain an understanding of the business environment and the role leadership plays. You will see how developing leadership skills can help create even more success within a business, improving productivity and outcomes.

The second session focuses on the psychological aspects of the workplace.  You will learn why individuals work, the effort they devote to work and how this can be influenced and encouraged through effective leadership skills. You will also have the opportunity to consider motivational theory, including how to create an environment which supports the motivation of individuals.

In both sessions, leadership theory is used to help you develop an understanding of how and why leadership skills support productivity and growth.  You will also have the opportunity to participate in a webinar with our expert academic.
