Course description

This is a basic beginners' guide to Adobe Photoshop. Over six, two-hour sessions, we will cover:

Learning outcomes

After completing this short course you will have an understanding of working with layers and digital images. By learning and understanding the fundamental basics of Adobe Photoshop and applying those skills to tasks throughout the course, you will have a good grasp of the skills required to create composite images, resize images and understand file formats and DPI.

Bev Reardon
Programme leader

Bev Reardon is the Liaison Tutor for Academic Outreach. Bev's role draws upon her creative and teaching experience and focuses on relationship building with businesses, post-16 education providers, and other organisations within the Arts sector. With over 10 years industry experience as a Graphic Designer, Bev made the transition into teaching after qualifying in 2004.
