World Book Day

World Book Day at the University of Derby

Now in its 22nd year, World Book Day is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) a celebration of reading. In fact, it's the biggest celebration of its kind marked in over 100 countries all over the world.

World Book Day will be taking place on Thursday 7 March and once again, the Library will be leading the celebrations. Our renowned book sales will be taking place in our Libraries at Buxton, Kedleston Road and Leek, so do come and have a look at what is on offer.

If you have any books that you would like to donate, then please bring them to the libraries at Buxton, Kedleston Road, Britannia Mill and Leek.
