Mobile Applications

There are a range of apps that will help you find your way around the University's campuses and the surrounding areas and provide an additional access point for your study materials.

The DerbyUni app gives you mobile access to our University of Derby Online portal (UDo). It is our main app for information and it's available for download from the app stores for Apple, Android and is available for web enabled phones including Windows. We also provide and support third party apps such as Blackboard Mobile Learn that may support your studies or work. We have also provided a signposting service for apps that we cannot directly support but you may find useful.

Blackboard Mobile Learn

The Blackboard Mobile application (Blackboard app) provides a more user-friendly way of accessing Course Resources (Blackboard) on any internet connected mobile device such as a mobile phone or tablet.

Blackboard Collaborate

Blackboard Collaborate provides you with the ability to join live classes, view whiteboard material or download recordings to you your iPhone or iPad.

DerbyUni App (UDo Student Portal)

The DerbyUni App is the UDo Student Portal App. Through this, you can access course resources, support, and other helpful resources that you will need access to during your time at the University of Derby.

Find My Bus (RYGo)

RYGo is the transportation app which utilises GPS technology to track University Buses and provides the scheduled timetables of these buses.
