Microsoft Home Use Programme

As a member of staff at the University of Derby, you have free access to Microsoft 365 and the full office suite at Office.com with your university login credentials. You can download the desktop versions of the applications on up to five devices for free or access these applications online anywhere, any time. However, if you wish to buy a seperate Microsoft 365 programme for personal use, you can do so at a discounted price through the Microsoft Home Use Programme. 

This program enables staff to get a licensed copy of most Microsoft Office desktop applications (available for both PC and Mac) to install and use on your home computer.

Under the Home Program, University employees may acquire a licensed copy of the MS Office Home Use Program software. You may continue using HUP software while you are under the University's employment.

• This software is downloadable, however if you choose to be sent a back up disc, you may well be charged an additional fee (fulfilment fee). This additional fee is to cover packaging, shipping and handling costs.
