PGR Conference 2018
We are now accepting applications for presenting a poster at the University of Derby’s annual PGR student Conference, which will take place on 23rd April 2018 at Britannia Mill, UoD.
For this year’s conference, we are inviting all PGR students to explore the theme of Co-production through poster presentations. The Conference aims to promote collaborative work with your Director of Studies/Supervisor(s) and to provide a development opportunity in relation to the Vitae’s Researcher Development Framework. This could be by developing your knowledge and skills of working with others, ensuring the wider impact of your research, or discovering new ways of encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration. You are encouraged to focus on the theme of the conference in your poster as well as your area of study.
The Conference is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in presenting your research, and getting feedback from the judging panel and the audience. The winner for the best poster presentation will receive an iPad and 2 runners-up will each receive a £100 Amazon voucher. People’s Choice will receive a £100 Amazon voucher.
Distance learners who are not able to attend the PGR Conference may submit their poster and their oral presentation will be facilitated via Skype during the Conference.
The deadline for submissions is noon 29th March 2018. Please see the attachment to see how to submit your poster.
