Post Graduate Research Assistant (PGRA) in Applied Economics within the College of Business, Law & Social Sciences, University of Derby

The Centre for Business Improvement (led by Professor Carley Foster) has an opportunity for a Full-Time Post Graduate Research Assistant in Applied Economics.

The successful applicant will receive a stipend of £14777 per annum and a personal development budget of £1,000 per annum for 3 years. The post also covers Home/EU PhD tuition fees for three years. Please note, if your application is successful and you are assessed as Overseas for fees purposes, you will need to pay the difference between the Home/EU fees and the Overseas fees.

The intended start is in March 2019, or the next available intake.

The successful applicant will be expected to complete his or her PhD within 3 years on the Traditional Route PhD, contribute to the Centre/College REF submission and get involved in the wider research activities of the relevant Centre.

Applicants will become part of a friendly and welcoming team and will be supported and managed by his or her supervisors and the Centre Head.
