Developing Digital Literacy in the Career Development Sector

An opportunity to get involved in research to understand the careers sector’s digital skills and training needs.

The Career Development Institute (CDI) launched its digital strategy in January 2018. Currently, there is no clear understanding of the career development sectors current use of digital solutions or the training needs of the workforce. iCeGS at the University of Derby is working with the CDI to research this issue. This research will develop an understanding of how practitioners and managers in a range of settings use digital technology to deliver their services. It also aims to explore the potential for digital technology to provide career development services and to identify the training needs of practitioners so that they can use digital technology to deliver services, innovate solutions and solve problems in service delivery.

This research is essential to the sector, and we would like to invite you to participate by completing this online survey.
