His MA (Hons) is in Modern History from St Andrews University, Scotland, and he studied toward a PhD, in seventeenth-century history, at Lancaster University.

Gemma Marmalade is an internationally exhibited artist, doctoral researcher, and award-winning Senior Lecturer specialising in experimental approaches to the radical intersections of photography and performance, playfully negotiating the authenticity of the artists' voice.

Kathleen is a Lecturer in History and teaches across the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Specialising in nineteenth-century British history and with experience of working in the museums sector, Kathleen is module leader on a number of modules for the MA in Public History and Heritage. Her research focuses on the Victorian Post Office, occupational pensions and occupational health.

An applied economist passionate about teaching, enthusiastic about research and keen on professional engagement. His role within the College of Business, Law and Social Sciences spans the full range of academic activities from teaching at all levels, to leading programmes, to keynote speaking and business consultancy and to applied research.

He has earned his PhD from the University of Derby, UK; an Executive MBA from Preston University; and an MBA from American University of Central Asia and is now pursing his PhD with focus on Circular Economy. As a growing researcher, he has published in scientific journals, international conferences and a book chapter.
