Michala Meiselles is Senior Lecturer and module leader. Before joining, she was Associate Professor at Université Jean Moulin where she is visiting professor.  She sits on Academic Board. She is a solicitor and consults on trade and compliance. She read law at University of Manchester (LLB and LLM) and is Senior Fellow of the HEA.

As a Lecturer in Forensic Psychology, Dr Tom Page teaches on the BSc (Hons) Forensic Psychology programme. He conducts research in Forensic Psychology and has published articles in a range of high-quality academic journals.

Professor of Global Law

Hakeem Yusuf is Professor of Law and Global Studies at the University of Derby's Law School. He was awarded the prestigious John T Saywell Prize for Canadian Constitutional Legal History in 2015 by the Osgoode Society of Canadian Legal History.

Senior Lecturer in Sociology

Rachel Rafferty is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Derby. She teaches across the fields of sociology and criminology at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Dr Rafferty has a professional background in the charity sector and has published research on topics such as resolving interethnic conflicts, supporting refugee integration and post-conflict peacebuilding.
