Enhance your skills and practice with individual modules for CPD
As a nurse, we know that Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is vital to you and your practice. You’ll be aware that every year you need to undertake learning and reflective practice to remain competent and current in a changing world. Although it’s a requirement of maintaining nursing registration, CPD is not just a checkbox; it’s an opportunity to improve the quality of your care and global standards of healthcare practice.
Enhancing your skills through independent modules
At University of Derby Online Learning we offer a wide range of exciting standalone 20 credit modules which equip you with the skills and knowledge you’ll need to enhance your nursing abilities, whether in your current area of practice or something new. Studied over a period of 10 weeks, all of our high quality Level 6 modules are taught by academics who are experts in their field, and we’re sure you’ll find something to suit you. Each module costs just £750 (price correct for 2017/2018 new students. Subject to annual increase in September 2018), which can be paid for through convenient monthly payments or in full upfront.
Our online learning structure can work around even the most demanding schedule, with independent study fitting around your existing commitments. When you’ve completed the module, you’ll be issued with a statement of achievement to put into your CPD portfolio, demonstrating your commitment to lifelong professional growth.
Our modules have been designed to complement your self-development and improvement, while offering you the flexibility to fit your studies around a busy work schedule and personal commitments.
