The University of Derby Online Learning (UDOL) is dedicated to providing structured and supported online learning degree courses to students who require more flexible study options. By combining the best quality university teaching and the latest online delivery techniques, we continue to be a leading UK university of online learning.
The University of Derby Online Learning (UDOL) team has grown substantially over the last few years as the online education provision grows.
We have a talented and highly skilled workforce, with over 70 on campus Academic and Operational staff based at the Enterprise Centre, Derby. In addition over 120 remote and globally based Associate Academics who deliver and co-author our online material.

Member of the Athena SWAN Charter
The University of Derby Online Learning has been a proud member of the Athena SWAN Charter since March 2014.
The Athena SWAN charter was developed through work between the Athena Project and the Scientific Women's Academic Network (SWAN). The charter was developed to enhance the representation of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine (STEMM).
In encouraging and recognising commitment to advancing women's careers in STEMM, employment in higher education and research sectors, the charter addresses gender inequalities and supports the progression of women in science.
As a member of the charter, the University of Derby Online Learning is committed to tackling the unequal representation of women in science and follows the six principles set out by the charter.
