The Public Health teaching team include public health specialists, environmental health practitioners, biomedical scientists, and psychologists. They will provide you with a broad perspective on public health issues that is firmly based in practice through case studies.

As the programme leader for the Master of Public Health,Jo liases with local and national public health organisations to ensure that there is knowledge transfer between our students and staff.

Pauline Green
Academic Lead in Social Work and Social Care and Course Director

Dr Pauline Green is a registered Social Worker and a member of the British Association of Social Workers. She has worked at the University of Derby since 1999 and is presently Academic Lead of Social Work/Social Care at the University of Derby Online Learning Department. She has published in the British Journal of Social Work and delivers resilience training for Derby Social Services.

Danielle Mills
Lecturer in Counselling

Lecturer in Counselling, Danielle Mills, is a qualified Counsellor, NLP Practitioner and Equine Assisted Psychotherapist. Her career so far has been spent working predominantly with young people affected by mental health difficulties; this has been in statutory inpatient care, statutory local authority provision and in the community and voluntary sector.
