On successful completion, you will be awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Career Guidance (60 credits at Level 7).

This qualification supports progression into a wide range of roles, including:

• Career guidance roles in schools, colleges, universities and training providers
• Careers and employability roles in local authorities, community organisations and workplaces
• International career guidance roles where UK-recognised qualifications are valued

You will also:

• Enhance your employability in settings where personal career guidance is required
• Develop research and critical thinking skills, supporting progression to a full master’s degree
• Build a strong foundation for advanced professional practice or leadership roles

You may choose to progress to further postgraduate study, such as an MA in Education or other related master’s programmes at the University of Derby.
