Business studies is a popular, well-established subject that provides an excellent foundation for any aspiring business person.

This University Advanced Diploma will prepare you for a career in a rapidly changing business and social environment. It will provide you with a sound general knowledge of organisations, their management and the global environments in which they operate.

You’ll be given the opportunity to develop practical skills within a business and management context helping to develop your personal, self-learning and team working skills necessary for successful employment in business and management.

Key skills to take away

Modules have been designed to give you an understanding of the strategic decision making process, project management skills and their application, the implementation of relationship management via public relations activity and the impact of international markets on buyer behaviour.

All of your learning resources are available online through our virtual learning environment called Blackboard. You will have access to learning materials, e-library, discussion forums and wikis through an online student portal.

Our expert online tutors will guide and support you throughout your studies. You will also benefit from addition support from a personal online learner advisor.

Studying online gives you the flexibility to study at the most convenient time and place for you. Course modules still operate within a fixed trimester but you can choose to study during the day, in the evenings or at the weekend rather than having to attend fixed lectures.
