The first cohort of nursing students to go through a special training programme developed as a result of the inquiry into the failings of Mid Staffordshire Hospital have finished their studies at the University of Derby.
Stephanie Duchak, who was in the first cohort to graduate in 2005 from the University’s pioneering Spa management course, came back for an Industry Networking Day to pick out the stars of the future as employees at the award-winning Manchester Bali Health Lounge, which she manages.
The University of Derby has held the first meeting of its Student Experience Learning and Teaching Committee (SELTC). This is a new committee combining the Student Experience, and Learning, Teaching and Enhancement sub-committees, and is co-chaired by the Students’ Union.
