The University of Derby’s International Student Centre has been ranked number 1 out of 43 for student support in the Autumn 2015 International Student Barometer (ISB) for the second year running.
The ISB tracks and compares the decision-making, expectations, perceptions and intentions of your international students from application to graduation.
With feedback from over 2.3 million students worldwide across all student types, levels and years of study, the ISB is the leading benchmarking tool used to track the international student experience.
The survey, which is run by i-graduate, involved 142,445 international students from 172 institutions across 18 countries.
The University of Derby was also ranked number 1 out of 85 in the Global Benchmark for Faith Provision as well as being ranked in the top four in the UK for Formal Welcome, First Night, Local Orientation and Residential Assistance.
Nick Slade, Director of International Development at the University, said: “We are delighted that we have been recognised for the first class student experience we provide to our international students.
“We work very hard to make all those small improvements every year that add up to something that makes a real tangible difference. Derby is a very welcoming university and we know that by helping students settle in they can focus on their studies and achieve their potential.”
