Running until: Thursday, 8 March 2018 at 9.00 PM

This is an annual event hosted by the College of Engineering and Technology. The event is aimed at girls 14+ along with their parents, family, carers and friends. School and college teachers and lecturers, along with careers advisors and the general public are also welcome to attend.

The event is a celebration to showcase Women in Engineering and Technology careers and presents 6 women engineers from a variety of engineering disciplines: Software engineers, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, sound engineers etc.

Each speaker will give a 10 minute 'best bits' presentation of their career journey to date and explain the meandering or linear path they took to get there. This is a fun and motivational evening with the opportunity to put questions to the panel members during the event.

For any girls considering a technology or STEM based career, this event will give an insight into different industries along with the range of qualifications and study routes they can take to get there, for example A levels, BTECs, traditional degrees, or apprenticeships.
