Running until: Monday, 20 November 2017 at 8.00 PM

This public lecture is aimed at anyone who works in hotels, other types of venues, meeting planners, convention bureaus – and anyone who regularly attends meetings. Dr Rob Davidson will be looking at recent innovations in designing and hosting meetings, which point to how we can make these events more meaningful, productive, enjoyable, and ultimately more successful for attendees. Many of the ideas will be drawn from his book, ‘Winning Meetings and Events for your Venue’, published by Goodfellow.

His main areas of expertise are conferences and incentive travel, and he has written seven books on these themes.

For the past 5 years, Rob has been included in Conference & Incentive Travel magazine’s ‘Power 50’ – the 50 most influential people in the UK conference industry.

He is regularly invited to speak at international conferences on themes linked to business events, in particular, to present the results of his ongoing research into conference industry trends.
