Does your company operate in the transport equipment manufacturing supply chain? If yes, this event will help you understand and learn practical approaches to mentoring and coaching skills and techniques to benefit staff at all levels.

About the Workshop and Expert Support

This one day course will be delivered by AWD Development Solutions Ltd who are specialists in people, team and organisational development, demonstrated by a CIPD professional fellowship accreditation and substantial transport equipment manufacturing industry background.

You will take away from this one day course, how to become a more effective team member and the opportunity to practice new skills in a safe environment using real life scenarios. Elements of learning will include:

Introductions and personal experiences of mentoring and coaching

  • Overview of coaching and mentoring, differences and similarities.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Behaviours and Experience required for success
  • Mentoring – phases, responsibilities, benefits
  • Coaching – framework, responsibilities, benefits (including a coaching practice session)
  • Action planning to make immediate improvements, implementing and embedding your learning.

You will also be offered the opportunity to review your recent learning and its application into your business, with a one to one post workshop session at a later date, arranged through Enscite.

Who Should Attend

Staff from from all levels, who want to maximise effective working relationships and performance through an understanding of mentoring and coaching. Particularly useful for roles attracting formal mentorship (e.g. apprenticeship or other developmental mentoring).

Due to the bespoke nature of this workshop, it is exclusively for organisations operating in the transport equipment manufacturing supply chain. Places are limited in order to maximise the benefit for each delegate, so please register your interest early.

Who We Are

Enscite is a three-year collaboration between the University of Derby, Aston University and Derby City Council to support TEM businesses to improve their productivity to facilitate growth and competitive advantage. It is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Company Eligibility Criteria

This workshop is for companies with:

  • Under 250 employees
  • Turnover not exceeding €50 million
  • Trading office located in the D2N2 LEP area

Unfortunately Statutory Provision or Under 18’s are not eligible.
