About the lecture:

How careers work: observations of an applied researcher” – Wendy Hirsh’s Inaugural Lecture

Our Visiting Professor of Career Development shares reflections as a practitioner of applied research on career development issues.

Dr Hirsh’s interviews reveal how we tend to decide our working lives, including what we need to learn and how we view our futures.

In this lecture, Wendy will illustrate how certain projects and interview experiences have shaped her own ideas about career development. Debate will be warmly welcomed.

The lecture will take place 5.30pm-6.30pm and will be followed by refreshments.
