About this lecture:

Why roads would be safer if we gave the green light for drivers to use their common sense

Traffic safety campaigner Martin Cassini believes traffic lights are the real “WMD” - weapons of mass distraction, danger and delay – on Britain’s roads, and will use his public lecture to argue that putting drivers in the driving seat instead of constantly telling them what to do would make our highways less dangerous.

His lecture will round off the Buxton Town Team transport conference, Buxton On the Move, which is hosted and supported by the University of Derby.
