About the conference:

Come and join us for a day of presentations and discussions with local social action groups.

This will be an excellent opportunity for students, local residents, employers and University staff to engage with our local community activists and to understand the different ways we can support, engage and integrate with our community. A range of local agencies will be presenting on:

  • The work of their organisation
  • The social justice issues their clients face
  • Highlight potential opportunities/solutions to these issues.

  • Victim Support
  • Her Majesty's Prison Service
  • Derby Refugee Advice Centre
  • Aquarius (drug addiction & rehabilitation)
  • Impact Derby (mentoring)
  • Roma Community Care
  • Spectrum Derbyshire (hate crimes)
