‌The University of Derby, in collaboration with the Knights 1759 Employment team, are pleased to invite you to our Mock Employment Tribunal.

The Tribunal will provide you and your colleagues with a valuable insight into the workings of an Employment Tribunal hearing and valuable tips from our team on how best to defend, if not avoid, a claim.

Delegates will be provided with the seminar pack and bundle of documents in advance, giving them the same information our advocates have in advance of the hearing. On the day you will have the opportunity to see the witnesses examined and cross-examined on their evidence, and our delegates will have the opportunity to ask some questions themselves. Our expert Judge will then give their Judgment, reaching their final decision with a little help from the delegates. Knights do not script their mock tribunals so who is going to win is as much a mystery to the witnesses and advocates as it is to the delegates.

As well as providing an insight into how the Tribunal process works, the seminar will offer delegates the opportunity to network and share experiences with their peers, participate in a group discussion regarding the issues raised in the Tribunal, and to ask questions of the employment experts from Knights.

We look forward to you joining us.
