About the event:

We are delighted to invite you to the third FE & Skills Showcase at the University of Derby. This free event, organised by the PGCE (FE and Skills) Initial Teacher Education team, provides a unique opportunity for early-career professionals working in post-14 education to share their ideas and experiences in teaching. Trainee teachers from the University programme and its college partners will be showcasing some of the exciting ways they have approached:-

  • assessment
  • teaching and learning
  • use of technology

A key area of interest is the way trainees have been able to evidence the real difference to learning that has been made by their interventions.
