DEERS is a showcase for applied research and scholarship taking place in and around Derby and the Midlands, focusing on electrical and electronic engineering, and including acoustics and optics. It is a chance to see what is going on in the region, to trial a new idea, to network, and to bring research and development needs to the table. The showcase is hosted by the Electrical, Electronic and Software Systems Research Group of the University of Derby.

Presentation

Speakers from local industry and universities (staff and graduate students) are invited to give presentations of 15 minutes, or a poster, emphasising applicable research and practical  outcomes or needs. To submit a  proposal, please send an abstract of around 150 words to Dr Jose Manuel Andrade, JM.Andrade@derby.ac.uk by June 12th.

The final decision will be communicated soon after. Presenters will be asked to provide Power Points or presentation notes for circulation.
