As part of the strategic ambitions for the University, PGR (Post Graduate Research) student management is in need of review. Currently, the paper/spreadsheet-based processes are inefficient and result in documents being lost. This project aims to introduce an online facility for the maintenance and tracking of PGR students, increasing productivity and reducing administration time whilst also aiding the University with its REF (Research Excellence Framework) submissions as completion rates and progress tracking can be monitored and reported on.
