University of Derby Wi-Fi Service - eduroam?
Eduroam is a wireless service. It allows students, and staff to obtain internet connectivity across all the University of Derby sites.
Eduroam stands for Education Roaming. It allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to access the internet at other participating organisations that they visit.
It's really simple too! Your Derby username and password can be used at all institutions, which means that if you have used eduroam at one site, you are ready to go at any other academic institution that your visit.
For more information on eduroam and a list of participating sites, please visit www.eduroam.org
Who will be able to use the service?
Staff / Students - Any student or staff member at the University of Derby can use eduroam on the university campus or any other academic institution that uses the eduroam service.
For a full list of UK locations visit: https://www.jisc.ac.uk/eduroam/participating-organisations
For a full list of global locations please visit: https://www.eduroam.org/where/
Visitors - Please use the free service called The Cloud. The accounts you use are created using The Cloud (a private company) rather that the University, and are completed using a self-registration method.
