Derby Teaching Hospitals

Derby Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust operates the Royal Derby Hospital, incorporating the Derbyshire Children’s Hospital, London Road Community Hospital and some satellite services at other hospitals.

Clinical excellence and compassionate care lie at the heart of the services the Trust provides. These include a wide range of services including specialist medical and surgical, maternity and fetal medicine, rehabilitation care and accident and emergency services. The Trust treats a million patients each year.

The Royal Derby has the only roof-top helipad in the East Midlands and its busy emergency department sees around 370 patients every day.
