CPD - Continuing Professional Development and Learning Beyond Registration - University of Derby

CPD CPD is a core element of every health and social care professional's development journey.

There has never been a more important time for members of professional teams to ensure that they are up to date with the latest practice to benefit patients and clients, and to safeguard their future.

Modules to suit a range of professionals

We have CPD modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels (levels 6 and 7), which have all been tailored to meet the needs of practitioners and managers working within the health and social care sectors. We have modules to suit nurses, occupational therapists, hand therapists, radiographers, psychotherapists, and those working within complementary therapies.

Designed with you in mind

To meet all professional development requirements, our modules incorporate a range of teaching, learning and assessment strategies, with robust support and application to practice.

Our CPD and LBR offer includes online, distance learning and on-campus modules, so no matter what your preferred learning style or life commitments, you can find a study option that's right for you.

Studying through LBR?

We are pleased to confirm that the LBR funding has now been confirmed for the 2017/18 academic year. We will be in touch shortly with all those who have applied for courses but haven’t heard from us. If you haven’t applied, please speak to your line manager in the first instance.

For some students, it's possible to access learning beyond registration funding to study with us. Find out more or speak to our dedicated LBR team to see if you are eligible for funding, on 01332 597874 or lbr@derby.ac.uk
