Return to Prescribing - a one day workshop aimed at V100 / V150 prescribers (V300 prescribers are also able to attend if they haven't been prescribing for some time and feel they would benefit from this day).

This day is focused on revisiting prescribing best practice and ethical principles, pharmacodynamics & pharmacokinetics and building confidence  again around prescription writing. This CPD day supports key health care policies, provides better care for patients and promotes safe, cost effective health care practice.

Throughout the day we will choose topics best suited to the group to focus on prescribing from the Nurse Prescribers’ Formulary (NPF).  Evidence suggests however, that many of us are not prescribing as expected, this one day workshop hopes to redress this balance and cover prescribing from a range of NPF topics.

Hours accrued can contribute to both local and professional CPD requirements.
