Guide to Enrolment Events

Your enrolment checklist

We want you to be as prepared as possible when you come to enrol. Take a look at our checklist to find out what you need to bring with you.

One form of ID - a passport, driving licence, NI card, or debit/credit card are examples of accepted forms of ID
Exam certificates / results
Wage slip or proof of benefits (19+ funded course learners) - if you are aged 19 or over AND doing a funded course, please bring 3 recent wage slips or proof of benefits you may be in receipt of
Residency share codes / documents (for learners born outside of the UK)

Please make sure you bring the required documents with you to the enrolment event, we won't be able to fully enrol you without them.

Enrolment is the process that officially makes you a University of Derby - Buxton student.

Registration

Our team will be available to provide advice and guidance on your next steps at UoD - Buxton

Course tutor and Additional Learning Support

The tutors will check your GCSE results and ensure you’ve chosen the right course and right level

Enrolment

Receive all the important details about your start date, induction activities and other information

Review

The team will review your details to ensure everything is accurate and enrol you onto your course

Student ID Card

We will take your photo for your student ID, and you’ll receive your student card and lanyard

UoDB Transport (if required)

You can check our bus routes and timetables, and apply for a bus pass

Bus pass

Collect a temporary bus pass once your application is submitted

Financial Support & Bursary (If required)

You will be able to speak to our dedicated Student Welfare & Money Advisors

Checkout

Once you have completed these stages, enrolment is complete and we look forward to you joining us!
